Apart from the fact that Windows 95/98 won’t visually improve performance with more than 128MB of RAM, MicroSoft actually officially acknoledge that 95/98 will have severe problems running with more than 512MB of RAM installed.

In addition to that (I got the links from www.dansdata.com they also acknoledge that 95/98 *cannot* achieve an uptime greater than 49.7 days due to a programming bug. Oh well…I’m sure XP will have some sort of backdoor in it that enables MS to automatically patch any bugs they find rather than having to acknoledge any bugs anywhere

Changed the nav images so that the rollever is seamless. Thinking about getting rid of the frames and just using a table…any comments?

Server is going again (yay Just trying to set it up to run on port 80 and 443. Apache-ssl doesn’t seem to like my Listen and VirtualHost directives.

Oh well, the server should be up properly by tommorow anyway

Ok server’s currently running off port 81 for web people. It’s on port 443 as well but its not secure so browsers that try and initiate an SSL connection will screw up. Lynx likes it fine Will set up Apache-SSL in the near future.

A’ight i got the new 56k today. A bit faster…well not really but not as much lag on IRC when I’m downloading It’s black and semi transparent and looks weird because its square with a round bit on top…trust them to make sure it can’t be stacked :/

Has a DB9 connecter which is annoying because the cord they give you is real budgo and short, but I can’t use either of my other ones because they both terminate to a DB25 on the modem side. Oh well. Hopefully in 12mths i can get ADSL or something…then my site will be back up again

Found out that RAC are replacing my Creative Modem Blaster 56 II (it fried in a storm last month) with a Swann 56k modem. That means their replacing a $110 modem with a $70 modem.

I’ll never get my home insurance with RAC….

Based around some ring or something. Then it changes comletely and follows the life of some homecoming queen chick (only reason I kept watching it whos a drug fucked slut. And her dad is someone else in the nightmare and ands up killing her. Or something
