Things I Hate About Ubuntu 6.10
Ok I love the idea of Ubuntu. And when I installed it on my desktop system, some 12 months ago, it was great…until I started installing software and customizing it 
#1 Thing I Hate About Ubuntu Today: There is no “Kill” option when you right click on the menubar of an application.
WindowMaker has this. It’s useful, because much open source software is either
(a) Outdated meaning you wind up going for the beta version
or
(b) Released without proper testing so that it is effectively the beta version just retagged as “stable”
OpenOffice on this box just keeps freezing on me today sigh. Maybe the next version of Ubuntu will be better
